Today we are talking about studying game film for player development. You might be saying to yourself, Coach Dave, why are you just talking about boys players today? Well, believe it or not, boys and girls are different, in there approach to the game and especially how they think about their own improvement. So if you are a boys HS player or coaching a boys player you have to have a different approach to film study in order to get the most from your sessions. Now there are a lot of things you can use film study for, scouting opponents, learning plays, analysis, but today we are talking specifically about watching your own game or practice film for individual improvement.
